Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Interesting insight into how referees go about balancing the key decisions they make in a game , from Mark Clattenberg.

I'm amazed he openly admitted a crucial mistake to the Atletico players, but agree with the overall way he handled the game in the context of his mistake.

I reckon the "even it up" mantra after a poor call happens a lot in the game.

Also, some refs are just awful.

  • Rules are rules and are meant to be followed to the letter of the law.
Not sure how it can be interpretated any different.
Baffling that he can come out and say that publicly without repercussion.

I think he'll end up having to "clarify" those remarks.

Isnt Clattenburg now out of UEFA and FIFA refereeing lists? I cant see anything coming of it really.

Enough about Walsh. What do you think of Clattenburgs comments?
