Listening to the radio the other day and it got me thinking ,

The presenter was talking about how our lives are changing and we are spending less time on ourselves for hobbies , self interests , friends and so on

She was saying our lives especiallyfor those in city areas are becoming much more fast paced

    We are getting up earlier
Traveling to and from work longer
    Working longer hours
Some people working and studying part time
People have kids plus work plus study
    And so on

And it got me thinking is it true for most people

Do you have a hectic lifestyle ?
Do you ever get time to spend on yourself ?
How do you spend time on yourself ?

And do people have any tips for people on how to spend more time on yourself

How can we utilise our time better

You should spend time finding yourself.

Loads of it. Even time to spend fruitlessly on Boards

I do as we don’t have kids and my work is 20 minutes away by bike.

My sister with 3 kids and a big commute has literally no time, weekends included.

Is this thread a euphemism for masturbation?

Well considering that I'm too ill to work at the moment I spend most of my time doing treatment, the rest of the time masturbating, so it seems that I am taking quite good care of myself.

I get so sick of dealing with people at work so I spend all my free time on my own doing things I like

Only started doing so recently. We definitely don't get enough, on average.

Bought a PS4 as a treat to myself on a great Argos deal approx 8 months ago. Still in it's wrapper beside the bed :(

As a father to a 10 month old I think spending enough time on ourselves is getting some very deep sleep.

A while ago after I finished playing football I realised I had no hobbies apart from drinking, gambling and watching sport on t.v, so I took up golf and painting abstract art. I still manage to fit in the drinking, gambling and watching sport on Tv.

When this subject crops up it usually branches into physical health, eating well, getting enough exercise, sleep etc etc. For me it's about learning more, discovering things I didn't know and developing mentally.

There is a youtube user called Doc Schuster who goes through lessons on physics with markers and paper that are simply incredible. However, there are loads of them and I am trying to find the time to watch them whenever I can. I just find the subject itself fascinating and his enthusiasm and delivery of complex subjects spot on. Trying to find the time to digest it all is a challenge, it certainly beats watching rubbish on telly.
