Depositing funds from overseas problem

    Hi

    We are trying to transfer funds from an overseas (China) account to our BoI business account, but we are experiencing some difficulties. BoI has rejected the funds transfer and has cited the lack of sort code for the rejection, however the sort code was provided right next to the account number.

    Could you please help suggest steps we could take to try and resolve this issue?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here.

    I'd ask you to raise this with the sending Chinese bank as they should be able to send an internal message to us clarifying any account details that would be needed and the payment can then be applied to the receiving account.
