For LCD last week we got to Malahide early and went for food and a few pints. There's plenty of nice pubs around, and then a short enough walk into the venue. I think t's actually quite a nice spot for gigs. Although LG will have a much bigger (and probably messier) crowd than LCD had so maybe that will make it a bit more difficult. I still wish I was going though!

Was there many enjoying a few cans in the street en route to the gig or was it enforced the policy of no drinking in public ?

Any idea as to how long will it take to stroll in to the site from Gibneys?

Friend of mine is going to this, was suppose to be a group of 4 but two have pulled out so they have 2 spare tickets. Only looking for face value. Or less if they're going to a good home

Haven't been to a gig here before, is there a pit area for those who get in early?

Don't think there is a pit

That was a fake setlist, setlist fm updated with the correct one now
was it incorrect/fake, or just not filled out in full.

People just post on setlist.fm some might only put a few songs up and it can appear that a gig was very short.

I remember when pixies played here one time and the setlist was very sparse as it was a new album and nobody knew the names. Sometimes you will see listings on setlsit.fm with "unknown song" or "new track" or something like that.

until what time will the concert last? Need to catch the last Dart to Bray which for some reason is scheduled at 23:05 from Malahide Castle, hope not to miss the last few songs!

Sound checking Live Forever right now

The band sounded decent enough in soundcheck from across the road. No vocal soundcheck which is strange? I guess he'll come on and just tear into it. Not going myself, wouldn't be a fan, but I'd say it should be an enjoyable gig. Hopefully weather holds for you all.

Don't be fooled here, there are extra trains (not DART) being put on the Dublin city stations only! After LCD the trains topped at Connolly.

If you want any hope of getting a DART at 23.05 from Malahide leave the arena at 10:30 at the latest!

Listening earlier to the sound check from the back garden. Pretty much an Oasis show by the sounds of the songs he played. Couldn’t believe how loud it was compared to the other gigs last week

Liam doesn’t do soundchecks to preserve his voice for the gig I think.
