We're way ahead of you in Australia. So far, so good. Touch wood!

I opened the thread thinking it was about some welcome piece of legislation in Ireland, it's a bit of a let down.

OP, I think you may have posted in the wrong forum. This is the Atheisism & Agnosticism forum. If there's an Accounting & Auditing forum you might be better posting there. Every day is a day of reckoning for accountants & auditors.

We have run out of butter and Weetabix, which means there is effectively nothing for me to have for breakfast.

What kind of sicko puts butter on their weetabix!?

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Maybe the rapture happened while we slept and we are currently in hell?

Conditions are quite mild, not what I was expecting/hoping for.

Apparently today King Jong-Un visited a cosmetics factory accompanied by both his wife and his sister, the first time they've been seen together in public. And Paul Manafort has been indicted. I wonder what it all has to do with Fatima.

I thought the idea of the rapture was that the chosen would be gathered up but the rest of us would just carry on as normal? Of course that does not necessarily mean you are wrong :D . Bit of a land for those who assumed they would be chosen.

It's gone very quiet over on t'other forum.

****, maybe they were right all along. But it all seemed so implausible...

The acceleration due to gravity is weaker today. If you jump up as high as you can you will feel a bit more floaty than usual.

    Atheists be damed!

This is why airlines should only employ atheist pilots.

I must dig out that picture of the gorgonzola pizza with apple topping again :p

That looks really appetising. The one in the back of the picture :)

Yep. We're all in hell now, as clearly demonstrated by apple on pizza. The pineapple must have just been some kind of limbo thing.

It's still Monday in a few places in the Pacific.

The events may have happened but will not become apparent for some time etc...

I've had mandarin on pizza before. It was actually very nice.

So, I may have been dead for some time.

If I were someone completely manufacturing a prophetic statement, it'd be Manafort/Popadopalous.

(Even though it was announced in news agencies last week it'd pop on Monday)

I don't know folks. It's Thursday here in West Cork. Not sure what year it is though. Place seems peaceful enough. Might go into Ballydehob later on and have a birthday beer.

Happy Birthday! Time goes that bit slower in West Cork so you probably won't get hit by the full brunt of the rapture before the weekend. Enjoy you final beer ;)

Getting back to the pizza thing; a friend sent me a pic of the latest thing in pizza toppings....strawberries....
Even as a pizza pineapple fan, that's taking things a little too far...

OP will go AWOL now for a while, will pop up again in a few months to tell us the world financial system is about to implode or that some huge event is going to befall the world.

And if Jesus really loved his more devout followers, you think the least he could have done is to send a sign to buy some bitcoins before the last crash ;)

Ah now hold up and wait a minute!

Maybe that date was a significant one? OP could have been hit by lightning (hence his lack of response since?) And that's why his super spidey senses were tingling because he foresaw his own demise?

Nah just kidding, he's a well know llort :D
