Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Manchester United vs Spurs 12:30 Sky Sports

The two teams had reversals of fortune last weekend with United slipping to a defeat against Huddersfield while the Londoners delivered a bit of a kicking to Liverpool.

Current darling of the footballing press Maurice Poncherello is without star striker Hurry Kane while cartoon villain Hoesay Moaninho is without Twitterata Paul Pogba and kung fu master Maraoune Fellaini.

Spurs should be able to cope without the star forward given their quality in midfield with Del Boy Alli and Eric's Son.

United will be looking to release Lou Kaku and hope the big Belgian continues his excellent start at the club.

Head says Spurs to win by one or two, heart says United by one.

No clue what way this is going to go. Be nice to get back to Old Trafford though, after a rough time on the road.

Shame about Harry, would have really fancied Spurs to come away with the points if he was playing.

Not expecting fireworks. Spurs possession dominance without having a clinical focal point I reckon. Low scoring draw for me. 1-1

I actually think he peaked at dortmund, he's not suited to playing anywhere else apart from as a pure number 10, a dying/dead breed sadly.

He's been given that freedom all season tbf

He has a load of assists but his general performance has still been poor

    I’m going for 3 - 0 win to Utd.
In keeping with most of their fans predictions for the last two EPL games ðŸ˜

With Kane I would have fancied Spurs for this.

I'm backing Utd to win this. They need to go for it, and cant afford to sit back.

Harry Spurs is a big loss, fancy United 2 nil along as Jose doesn't employ his negative bull****.

    2-2

Bad when the only chant you can hear in the tunnel is from away fans.

Must be one of the worst big clubs for atmosphere around.

    Come on you spurs

Funny one this, Jose wants the opposition to oblige him by attacking non stop but Spurs hammered Liverpool with 36% possession. Without Kane, Spurs are likely to be even more circumspect.

Can’t see Utd with their approach and zero guile scoring at all. Hopefully Son can skin Utds suspect defence or Alli can continue his recent upward curve. If I was pushed I would say 0-1 or 0-2.

What? Bar Huddersfield where they lost their starter CB when have they been suspect?

Two poor passes from Mkhitaryan already.

Utd have just handed Spurs the initiative for some reason. It's like they're scared all of a sudden. Rushed clearances, terrible passes, and falling so much deeper.

  • Slacked off now
Mkhitaryan is being lazy, not helping out in Midfield at all

They just don't seem as comfortable on the ball as Spurs at the moment.

United predictable in their build up.

Winks so composed on the ball. Spurs beginning to look likely now.

Spurs the much better side at the moment, miki offering nothing.

Herrera and Matic is not enough from a creative standpoint for midfield. Mkhitaryan is not helping by looking like he is coming back off a year long layoff. So off the pace.

Not too many of these united players would get into the spurs team. DDG, Bailly (maybe), Matic (maybe), Rashford. Apart from that its spurs all the way. Pogba would when fit of course. Rightly second favs for the title with the bookies

Winks and Matic the best players on the pitch. Matic just isn't getting enough help. Mkhi has disappeared and Herrera is too frantic.

Young with the most blatant attempt to try and get Alli to react there.

Looks like we’re in for another game of Mourinho ball. Think I’ll get the lunch going.

Harsh assessment imo. DDG for sure, toss up between the likes of Bailly, Jones, Vertonghen and Alderweireld. Matic or Dier, meh cant choose. Valencia over Aurier all day. Davies over Young at LB. Attacking midfield is where Spurs win but Pogba is as good as any of them. Eriksen best player between both sides imo. Kane over Lukaku but it isn't a huge difference.

They are two fairly equal sides imo and are rightfully second favourites.

Lot's of long balls from united, really missing Felaini on that front. Lukaku doesnt look like producing anything, Very very boring. United fans cannot be happy with this, third game in a row of non-tainment

  • Get in Valencia

Herrera and Mkhitaryan not good enuf for a top class midfield. Very disappointed in Mkhitaryan as he looked class at Dortmund.
