Have three 13A fused outlets side by side. One definitely for dishwasher, think second is washing machine. What is third? I don't think its fridge because when I took out fuse fridge light is still 'on'. The cooker has a separate dedicated socket.
My problem is washing machine has just gone 'kaput' so Ill try replacing the 13As. Is there any way of telling that a fuse like these has 'gone'? Why are they 'hard-wired' like this apart from the fact that it probably is by regulation?

It's probably for the extractor over the hob. Swap the fuse with the one for the fridge that will tell you if the fuse is gone.

Or microwave if it's built in
