Paid ESB early, can use make sure im not charged twice?

Paid ESB early but not sure if i'll be charged twice with back holiday weekend and it taking saying it could take up to 2 working days to go through after i Paid.

We can check if the request has already been sent to the bank. If this is the case, we are unable to prevent it from being collected. Your bank may be able to prevent it from being collected if you ask them to.

For account security, we need you to please confirm the following details for us:

- Your full name
- Your account number
- The first line of your address
- Your contact number or date of birth
- Confirmation you are the account holder (Yes/No)

We can then look into your query for you.

Just double checked electric Ireland account and bill is paid.  
Direct Debit date is 7th November. 
Do you know if direct debit will still go through( bank is ulster bank if that's relevant).
