SA v Wales live on C4 now.

Ground looks fairly empty or else there is a dress as a seat fancy dress party happening

Brutal crowd and atmosphere, have they plugged the mics in for the singers?

Sounds on my stream is dire and not sure it's the streams fault.

Same on TV. Onscreen team line ups look like they're from the 80s.

    Well this is grim.

Different channel but the familiar voice of Eddie Butler

Same poor audio and terrible camera directing as Ireland v USA last year.

    Looks like RWC2011 on PS3

Camera work is terrible! Too zoomed in

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,674 ✭✭✭clsmooth

Actually can’t watch this. Feel a bit nauseous from the camera work

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-5796179/amp/World-Rugby-bail-USA-lose-millions-Wales-v-South-Africa.html needed 27k crowd to break even. Estimated 20k sales. 45k stadium

Not hearing the ref is a pain, though carley is nothing much to listen to

    Reflink working a bit now

The Welsh 6 and SA 8 are like boys amongst men. Giant boys I hasten to add.

    The sound is awful alright.

    Director's fault as well.

SA boot to clear, camera zooms in on the player that kicks. Who cares were the ball goes.

    This is painfully shíte.

This is actually appalling. The standard is embarrassing

Not sure which is worse, the coverage, or the match itself

Edited to add: or jantjies hair

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,674 ✭✭✭clsmooth

Unwatchable for me. Both for the game and the camera work. Feel motion sick

    Jesus Christ another ****ing error

What's the deal with Jantjies head.

Can see how this match will endear American neutrals to watch more rugby

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Turgid stuff. The game has basically been played between both 22s.
Its not like this is the first time they've seen rain. Commentators giving them way too much of a leeway.

Big contrast to the Irish game last summer with regards to value for money thats for sure.

I'd put a lot more of the blame on the director than the camera people to be fair.

Low tv audience numbers expectation = lowest bidder.

    I'm out. Turgid ****

The commentary reminds me of one of those terrible rugby games on Xbox.

Stands are half empty too, I'd say the atmosphere must be awful.

AWJ just popping into the comms box is literally the most interesting thing so far

Think I'm gonna give this til half time and if it doesn't get better I'll go and do something fun like punch myself repeatedly in the balls.

Thought the tv feed had cut out there for a second, would have been a sweet release ...
