On Onkyo website I can see that A9010 has optical inputs and the one on richersouds website does not. Is there newer model out? Will you have it in stock?

    Hi Czaszi.

Very strange as it would seem the picture on the European website shows an optical connection but the UK spec one does not. I've even checked our display one and it has no digital connections

We can only supply the UK version.

The A9010 is a fantastic stereo amp and won product of the year under £300 in What HiFi.
The A9010 is the current model and I can't see it getting replaced just yet.

    Currently priced at £197.00

I learned that the UK version has slightly different components at cost of digital inputs

    Hi czaszi,

That would make sense, Onkyo really pumped some good components into it to make it a really good sounding stereo amp. As Kenny said, it won the What Hifi award this year for best budget amp and it really does sound great for the price.

If you need a digital input you could always get a budget DAC like the CYP for £37.95.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
