Can't see this changing things too much given he spent majority of the year without Salazar most years and looks more like a case of not going down with the ship (a bit like Centrowitz distancing himself also)

Can see a few reasons for this:

    1. Galen Rupp is Salazar main marathon project, Mo might be playing second fiddle.
    2. Gary Lough is a good move for him.

Missing home I don't buy it, as he said in the summer he was missing home but no intention on moving just yet! So something happened, probably point 1 which leads to point 2!!! Or the net is closing in!!!

Can't imagine he would be second fiddle. Rupp has his pick of Marathon Majors - Boston, Chicago and Boston where organisers will be ling up to sign him whereas he wouldn't command a huge appearance fee in London or other European Marathons compared to top Kenyan/Ethiopian runners no real conflict there.

How much does Lough actually coach though, by all accounts was more a figure head for Radcliffe's coaching, in that sense could well be same type of set up

The twins about to start school could be a reason?
