On the Sean Moncrieff podcast Jonathan de Burca Butler does a weekly review of world news in a slot that's usually around 20 minutes. The by-line is "news you wouldn't normally hear" so don't know if that's exactly what you're after. Each of these show sections is treated as a separate episode, so it's easy to pick that one out if you subscribe.
