I am currently with another provider for above.
I have a crn number but no phone líne is installed as far as I know.

I have a white box connected to the copper líne and it has 2 slots - one where the modem is plugged in and the other is free and has a phone symbol on it.

Does this mean I have a phone líne or not.

    Thanks

Yes, you have a phone line. Everyone who has FttC has a phone line.

Why are Éir not offering broadband only.
    I am being pushed a combined broadband/phone package that I don't want.

Are all contracts now 12 months?

I was on the eir chat yesterday. Some guy from India area I presume and the usual hard sell.

I was first offered broadband/phone for €35 p/m for 6 months and then €70 p/m for the last 6 months of a 12 month contract so averages out at €53 p/m.

    I didn't want a landline phone.

It seems the broadband only is €53 p/m.

So why are they pushing the phone with broadband? Something not right with that.

Go to a store, the folks in there can offer a fibre only package i believe.

Where can I get my UAN number.
It is not on vodafone's letters.
Just customer number and crn on it.

    Can't switch without it.

I see there is a free tablet when ordering eir.

Given that you can choose it or €50 cashback I take it the tablet is pretty basic. What is it?

    Someone else mentioned homeplugs.

    Is that also a choice?

EDIT: It seems you have to buy a bundle to get these.

The €50 cashback offer and the tablet offers are two different promotions we have in place for different bundles. I'm afraid these offers aren't available to stand-alone broadband customers.

    Hi

I still haven't got an install date. What is the delay?

    Thanks

    Hi

I still haven't got an install date. What is the delay?

    Thanks

I finally got my install date.
However I seem to be unable to to register on the myeir account.
I have entered my old landline crn number and the account no. but it said they don't match.

It says the crn should begin with 4 numeral 8 digits (8888). However, mine only has 3 with a zero at the beginning (0888).

In filling in the crn I dropped the zero as the number wouldn't fit otherwise.

Is there a delay in being able to register for myeir? Do I have to wait for the install?

Can I also get cards sent out to view the bt channels on a sky box.

    Thanks

When your account is active you#'ll be able to register for my eir. If you don't have your stand-alone broadband number when it's active (you may not receive it until your first bill is issued) I can give it to you here if you PM me your account details.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear this. What's happening when you're trying to register?

I enter crn and account no.
It says 'error occured...couldn't process request'.

I enter crn and account no.
It says 'error occured...couldn't process request'.

I finally managed to log into myeir.
However I can't log into the eirsports green app.

It says 'sorry there is something wrong with your account...ring number..'

Is there a time delay in being able to register for these. I just don't want to be wasting my time trying to log in if there is an overnight delay.

    Thanks

    Hi Tigerandahalf,

I'm glad to hear you sorted registering for my eir.

There would be a 24 hour delay so should be able to register now, if you are still having issues you would need to contact the support team to investigate.

    Thanks

    Tracey

I can log in now but all I am getting is a loading circle on any of the feeds.

This seems to be a common issue going by other threads so maybe you post a reply here to clarify the issue with customers.

Is it a problem on your side or ours?

I still have this issue. Can you please sort it out. I switched to eir solely to get BT Sports. If this isn't sorted I will cancel within the 14 day period.

I am on an S8 running android 7.0.

    Thanks

I rang that number and was told I can't get the cards as I don't have the phone with my broadband.

    Can you sort please?
