    I was thinking more along the lines of a hardware shop. Maybe a mug? You buy mugs for your home

    Discard is probably closer to litter than it is to drop

    TBH I would've went for Nail too PJ. I think DROP and LITTER are good choices for the DISCARD clue. Maybe BOMB also?


    Sidebar: I'm not sure of the legality of HOMESTORE as a word. Should it not be hyphenated? Are those allowed?

    Jayop thinks we have this with the extra two guesses. PLATYPUS can't be anything but PLATYPUS imo.

    That leaves 1 guess from HOMESTORE, I'm not confident in MUG tbh

    DISCARD must be LITTER. Litter is something that is discarded, if you drop something, it is not necessarily discarded.
