    hey
the head of school told us that DIT will be renamed to TUD by the end of next year. I know originally this plan involved merging ITB and ITT with DIT. Anyone know if this is still the case?

The legislation is not yet in place. The government are supposed to pass the TU bill before Christmas, it is envisaged that the TU4D will happen at some stage after that.

Any ideas on what this will mean for upcoming graduates? I'm a part timer and finishes classes in May, but have to register for my final year project module in Sept18, and don't officially graduate until Feb19. Will I be a graduate of DIT or TUD? Hmmm.

Your qualification will be equally valid either way. "Tud" sounds like something nasty though.

I'd say it would be extremely unlikely that the TU4D will be up and running by then. So most likely you will graduate from DIT.
