First of all you wouldn't meet the requirements for a Ranger which are:

    Int: 12
    Wis: 12
    Con: 15

Being reborn allows Statistic adjustment, would you agree to

    STR: 10
    DEX: 12
    CON: 15
    INT: 12
    WIS: 12
    CHA: 8

If so it would work as follows:

Okay so let's do a straight split.

    Level 4 => 8,125 XP

    Remaining XP => 25,709 XP

Split between classes => 12,855 XP each.

20,980 XP for Halfling, hence Level 5.
12,854 XP for Ranger, hence Level 4.

    Unlocks for Halfling:
    Long Bow Master:
    +4 to hit
    1d10 + 4 damage
    AC vs Two opponents: -2

    Unlocks for Ranger:
+4 damage against bugbears, orcs, kobolds, goblins, hobgoblins, ogres, ettins, all giants, and trolls

so im +4 to hit +1 cos of hafling and +1 at close range
am i looking forward to ranger double attacks in trhe future?
and will the be doubled because of my speed

yeah fcuk it dump my char to keep st 13 dex 13 and keep the bonus

    STR: 13
    DEX: 13
    CON: 15
    INT: 12
    WIS: 12
    CHA: 4

    +4 from bow alone.

+1 from Halfling and +1 close range are separate. So +6 in total.

Yes, they appear at Level 8. And speed is still with you.

Rounded down, but the .5 is kept in case you get a .5 later.

So a roll of 3 would get you 1 HP. If next level you roll 3, you get one more HP and the .5s combine, so 3HP overall.

You've actually two d6 + 1 from Halfling and four d6 + 1 from Ranger to roll. Each roll halfed.

You get a health increase from both classes.

Oh and sorry, it should be one d6 + 1 from Halfling and four d6 + 1 from Ranger.

Weird, they sometimes lose stuff. Anyway so +8 HP.
Note dropping Char will restrict the amount of people you have when you get to Sheriff level as a Halfling, but Goodie seems like he wouldn't be too into that anyway.

Encumbrance wise, I think the camels should be only Lightly Encumbered giving you 36 miles per day. Proceeding on that basis.

(Four horses = 60 encumbrance before Moderate Encumbrance, with all the stuff lost I don't think you're near that.)

so camels are just flavored mounts

Yes Camels are just flavored mounts (True in every edition of D&D, just checked). Not all animals are, just to say.
