Where would you rank Ireland into that for standard of life

I would rank us at 14. I think we are pretty good compared to the rest of the world

There are nine million bicycles in Beijing.

But that's neither here nor there. We are number 15 in the world, in terms of happiness, according to this study

8 officially for human development. 11 for social progress. 15 World Happiness index.

    Take your pick

8 in the UN Human development index. Ireland is a great country to live in generally. Of course we have problems but even so we rank highly in all these indexes. We can only imagine what it's like to live in the many absolute hellholes of countries around the world.

Which isn't really that happy when you consider how many unhappy countries there is in the world.

A really cuddly looking spider was found living in her head and then she kind of disappeared. On topic though, a child's got more bones than a grown ups got.

As long as he doesn't defraud the state of €1.6 million euro in taxes, I'm all for that.

Boards.ie isn't a repository of all human knowledge. It's a place where people talk. You want to stop them because it was brought up a year ago and discussed by other people? Do you do that in the office or in the pub as well?
