Have my avensis insured and was driving the wifes car thats nct'd and taxed. Her cars not insured shes not driving right now. OP, don't worry about it. There is a difference between insurable interest and owning something. Some insurers, such as Zurich will often specifically exclude driving a spouse's car and it will be stated on the cert or in the policy. If it is not there, you are fine.
