    Seems to me the €500K mark is too low for Dublin. Id love to know whether there is any appetite to increase to the €600K as outlined when first introduced but on similiar other terms.

    I think there is more appetite getting rid of the HTB in general.

    I disagree. The noise pre Budget possibly pushed that but house prices in Dublin arent the fault of this scheme.

    Credit will eventually increase and the bubble will keep on growing in 2018

    The temptation  for the banks to make money is too great for then to regulate credit supply. Ironically, people will call for looser lending, adding more fuel to the fire.
