Because defence is bad now they arent daft enough to pick any of the multiple sides who cleaned up by understanding defence is important. Defence is sooooooo 1900's. Paulo Maldini, Fabio Cannavaro all horrendous footballers. Wouldn't get into a U-10's game if I was in charge.
