For a side that supposedly won the league in September, United’s League form is very strange indeed. Still hungover from all the celebrating?

Losing to last years champions, while beating 2nd place, holding second and coasting in Europe.,

Yes what a hangover that seems to be.

Would have rathered a draw but that’s a big win for Chelsea and Conte in particular. Was starting to look a bit silly after his ‘Mourinho season’ comments and in danger of having one himself.

Lukaku seems to have gone to sh1t ever since Man Utd fans started singing about his dick.

Been a great day for Man City. I know its still early days, but can't see City messing up. The chasing pack aren't nearly good enough.

Decent game to watch, Utd could have got the draw late on.

Yeah he should have them run around like headless chickens and sit in 6/7/8th for most of the season

    It's the small things eh

So in 4 games? With a draw and a win against 2 of the top 6?

    But yes it’s disaster central..

4pts from 12 is a bad run, Newcastle and Rafa will park bus next week, so that will be tough.

Better team on the day won.

Apparently 'out of sorts', Chelsea turned up and played well.

Jose's tactics are awful to watch in action.

Pogba is a huge loss for United, different team since the start of the season

Is he a huge loss though. We won't know till we see him against one of the better teams. The difference lately is utd have been playing better teams.

Yea, overall tho Chelsea came out the blocks second half flying
Without our best player in pogba in midfield it's becoming glaringly obvious that the link between midfield and attack is broken
Miki can not do that job, he's been **** for weeks
Matic playing excellent but he's the DM, he's not there to create
Lukaka isolated too often so it's very hard on him

Agreed, 8 points clear and looking pretty

Long way to go yet but the winning mentality of City atm looks like it can't be touched.

Can't see anyone beating them in the Prem

Against 3 of the top 6?

    It’s a fine run..
no my many teams in the league will do better against pool/spurs/Chelsea

You’d swear it was all bottom half teams

Funny to see more Liverpool fans in here than either Utd or Chelsea fans.....God love them they have little to do in life.

Miki started the season very well but there must be something going on that he's faded so bad.

There's a re-run of them getting battered by city 5-0 on pool.tv later.

Probably just wasting an hour or two

brilliant by chelsea, fully deserved win, should have been 5 or 6

wont win the title but good to win anyways

They haven't been starting match threads recently either
I expect to see them again shortly as a few wins on the trot will do that :P

Love the way this is pulled out everytime united lose, as if it doesn't happen in the Liverpool match threads also.

He didn't really tho, he was getting assists but his overall performance levels have been consistently poor
Now he's not getting those assists either
Pogba covered alot of ground for him
He doesn't work hard like Pogba does

Enjoyed that, Chelsea were about as comfortable as they ever can be, defence looked as solid as they did last season and midfield were excellent.

All playing for 2nd this season behind City anyway.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Even had United got a draw it'd just be one point less behind at the end of the season. At the minute you can't see the chasing pack not dropping points to make a good effort of catching them.
City went to the Bridge a few weeks ago they just played the same as they would every week and dominated Chelsea, didn't go 3 at the back or hugely change tactics. They won't park buses & be happy with knicking a point.

Tbh don’t go onto any Liverpool match threads....in last while they haven’t had too many anyway....but reality is a lot of Pool fans are worrying about Klopp being a bit overrated as a manager...he talks the talk plenty but not much substance behind it.

It’s media bs, same as fans ‘turning on klopp’

Sure there’s some idiots out there, but every club has them!

It was Man United Supporters Trust wanting to discuss ideas for a more lively atmosphere at Old Trafford. Most big PL clubs have a poor atmosphere at their grounds these days.

    Scrap the cap!

This is true. It's too late though, the gentrification of the Premier League won't be reversed now.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Right, I'll put it in a "nicer" way next time, to abate your telling off. Point still stands. You can say that every second match could end by scores like 8-3 or 10-2 if you are claiming that game should have ended 6 nil !!

It is a ridiculous assertion unless that is the logic you apply to every game at full time!

Utd have 1 goal in 7 away games against the top 6 under mourinho.
