Nice to see it back though. The bike me and my friends learned to ride on.

I used to borrow my Mother's, 6 or 8 young lads tearing between villages on Honda 50 in the midlands to get served a bottle of Smithwicks away from home village (not I of course, actually I was the youngest in group and didn't). Lads would swear they got 60 MPH out of them with downhill tailwind.

And then someone got a Honda 90, another lad got a 125 and we were old enough to get served in our local and that little era was over :)

As of now, only announced for Japanese release. I really hope it makes it to our shore. I personally don't think Id ever buy a brand new car/bike in my life, but would 100% make the exception for this.

On a similar note, has anyone ever heard of a modern cub being imported here from Asia? Judging by the inflated prices on them here there would be reason to bring them in. Is there higher standards here that would have to be met?

Can't see how it would meet Regs here with drum brakes......isn't ABS mandatory now ?

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

From what I can see the EU regulation is that ABS is mandatory on bikes over 125cc, so maybe there's still hope...

Isn't there an upcoming/present requirement of combined or ABS for 50-125cc?
