    Hi,
I have a Onkyo av receiver TXNR414 which seems to have given up (resolution error).
Any recommendations of a similar spec'ed receiver, preferably with BT for streaming.

    thanks, MM.

    Hi MM,

thanks for the post & for thinking of us - pretty much all of our AV receivers these days do have BT as standard so that's an easy one :)

At the budget level you could look at the Pioneer VSX531 - £179 / €219.99:
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-201913-vsx531.aspx

If you step up to the Denon AVRX540 which is a fantastic sounding entry-level unit which retails at £249 / €279 we can do yuo a Boardie deal on it to take it to just £229 / €259:
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202670-avrx540bt.aspx

However our best selling AVR at the moment by a country mile is the new Denon AVRX2400 which has had simply amazing reviews:
    https://www.whathifi.com/denon/avr-x2400h/review

    Its currently £449 / €529

If you wanted an Onkyo to replace you own unit - then you could also look at the Onkyo TXNR676 - its currently £529 / €599 - again we can do you a Boardie deal a £469 / €499:

One final thing ( I shouldnt say this but here goes ;) ) - have you checked the Onkyo Customer care programme to see if your TXNR414 warranty has been extended by Onkyo?
    http://www.eu.onkyo.com/en/customer-service-program-118747.html

On some models Onkyo have extended their warranty by up to 6 years as they have identified some issues that may be caused by a faulty component and to be fair to them they are repairing some really old models on a free of charge basis?

If you are interested in any of these just drop us a mail to sales@richersounds.ie with your contact details and I'll ask one of the guys to give you a shout to arrange a delivery for you.

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist,

    ATVB,

    John Mc & Crew
