Anderson needs to take some painkillers to get through that game tomorrow.
No way he pulls out surely. Taylor must be delighted.

Seems a bit harsh if Anderson is that bad that the match can't be postponed

Can you imagine the sky interview with Taylor if the match got postponed a day or so and he lost..would be glorious

Poor compared to his very high standards, yes. I'm sure he'd say he was rubbish himself.

Ur right,He was rubbish, but he's in the hat for the next round, which is all that matters, infact,i hope his back problems continue on to the Taylor match,as I'm a Taylor fan.

Probably a day, You usually need to have placed a bet for the streams to work.
Though the minimum stake would do, 20 cent I think

    Sound. Thanks

Happy with my Taylor to win it outright bet at 12/1 now, once he gets tested more we’ll see the vintage Taylor

I wouldn't begrudge Phil a 17th title, it'd be some ending to a unbelievable career but it's the Sky wetting themselves over him I can't stand. Need to chill anyway he's played ok only beat dobey pipe and brown.

I think it's young Lewis or d Webster.he will beat either anyway.

Taylor said sky didn't want him to win cos he's gone from it

Have you watched Sky all week? They want him to win, badly! It's more publicity and headlines If he does win it. Great for PDC and Sky.

I think Taylor said it would give hearn a headache that's all.

Taylor has so many chips on his shoulders its a modern day miracle he is able to throw at all.

He is full of it and I suspect he doesnt even believe any of it himself.

Taylor saying sky and Barry Hearn don’t want him to win was bizarre maybe he is expecting them to break the bank to bring him back next year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,317 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Taylor talks a lot of shíte, but it's obvious what he meant. He reckons they'd prefer he didn't win it because it wouldn't be ideal to have a World Champion who won't be playing in the Premier League.

    And it wouldn't.

Short term gain from the publicity of The Greatest getting a final win before sailing off. But no World Champ on your roster for next year? Not the best tbh.

I was of the opinion; that if Taylor doesnt win the WC, he would play the PL anyway, but now I'm leaning towards him playing the Prem League regardless.

MEans too much to sky and the PDC.

He's not playing in the Premier League, he has exibitions booked for the year. He's retiring.

Should be in for two good games this afternoon.

Think Webster will handle the big pressure moments a bit better and fancy him to win a close one.

Cross should win but if DVDB gets a set under his belt early and puts Cross under pressure it could be a tight one as well.

Lewis off to a flyer here

    2 sets up. Wow.

This is a fantastic performance by Lewis in the biggest game of his career

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,851 ✭✭✭✭klose

Webster is so guilty of throwing into the 1 bed often enough. Even if he played better I don't think Lewis would even be giving him a chance still, champagne darts in a massive game for the lad.
