Anderson is awful, think he should just go home.

He might well be in about 20 mins.
Looks like there is no fight in him right now.

Not a bit, looks a beaten man. Which is shocking from a player of his ability. All I can say is he better be injured

Taylor is putting him under constant pressure.

His scoring and doubles have excellent.

Gary not near his best but knowing you can't afford to miss can do that.

Anderson playing like he's taken a bung. hes one of the highest scoring players in the history of the game and hes hitting next to nothing. taylor been a twat as per. I know a couple of guys who would have been on the circuit and they insist he was forever putting other throwers off. farting on the oche just before it was their throw was a favourite of his.

Anderson has form for losing on purpose alright.

I am a bit new to darts. Why?

Watch any of his interviews. He comes across incredibly fake. it's this happy mask, but underneath there's a bitter, angry slime creep, always ready to rush to the surface at any perceived slight. He can turn on someone very quickly.

He seems like someone that really abuses his power, no pun intended haha.

He's made the game into the superstar sport that it is, he is by a mile the greatest ever, no one will come near his record...but he's on the slide and a bit cranky, understandably. Even tonight you see him battling against the inevitable loss of concentration that comes with old age, you could never accuse him of lack of focus as one might say Van Gerwen had tonight. But some expect that he should accept his slide into being an also ran with grace, he doesn't, he snarls and fights and still puts it up to the best.

Taylor is bitter because the money wasn’t as big when he was winning everything all round him.

Watch Taylor slow this down even more now

Most of this is very accurate. However, he lacked grace and class and basic manners even when he was in the height of his considerable darting powers. He is a horrible person who happens to have a particular talent.

Have a few euro on lewis at 66/1. So hoping he manages it.

Cmon Gary, Taylor didn't look too happy bout the 140 when the dart was hanging on, gave a very questionable look to the announcer. Gary started to hit the treble bed a bit more now

    But does it really matter?

    He was the greatest.

Do we judge Cruyff, Best, Maradona and Pele by how nice they were in interview? I think the whole demand that the greatest ever should be very nice too is a new phenomenon. Someone like Roy Keane would disappear off the radar if charm and personality was used in judging footballers.

Gary Still not throwing anything like he can. Hope he levels it and then we'll have a grandstand finish.

Taylor is tiring a bit but Anderson is too erratic, although having said that andersons doubles in the last few sets have been impressive. It's his scoring which is frustrating

    This is up for grabs.

Have a feeling it's going all the way.

Firstly, we are talking about Taylor alone - and he simply (in my opinion) oozes pondlife in buckets. As you mention those others, at least they seemed to act with some modicum of respect when they ruled their particular sporting worlds, and performed their magic.

I'm not trying to judge, its just an opinion. Interviews will often let down the hero.

Camera work seems off at times and the graphics are slow to update this game or is it just me?

Nail biting stuff in ant case, cmon Gary!

Deserves to lose for that 39 alone.
