Serious darts from Lim so far. Webster is in a proper game here.

Match dart missed by Lim. Huge pressure on Webster with the crowd giving him stick.

Delighted for Lim, 63 years old and still has the hunger.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,294 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

That was an epic! Incredible performance from Lim.

I worry for Webster now, he's been clinging on to the top 32 and that loss is really going to hurt him.

    He looks well for 63

    Some good games tonight

    Fair play to Lim.

96 average and 46% doubles. Played bloody good stuff there.

"Many of them have never heart of Paul Lim..."

I'd say many of that crowd have never heard of Eric Bristow.

Actually a very high quality game of Darts too.

To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if some haven't seen a darts match before

The dartitis over the last few years had really hurt him and he was really starting to get his game back. A loss like that might send him backwards, and thats taking nothing away from Lim who played brilliantly

I doubt many of them have even heard of Singapore before.

Great performance from Lim, he'll pick up a handy payday for the surefire loss to Anderson. Amazing considering his age.

Barney and Lewis both in action this evening, should be an easy enough night for the seeds. Should...

Cheers. Forgot he was playing Smith. Going to be some 180s in that game. Lewis gets possibly the easiest first round game of the tournament. Fancy North to give Barney a scare too. 3-2 to Barney is my bet

92 average while nothing special is far from the worst of the first round losers.

The ally pally crowd have some great songs.

    My personal favourites:

    1. Yaya/kolo
    2. Boring boring tables
    3. Wanna stay here, drink another beer

A big spot of bother! Some clinical doubling from Munch when on a big c/o but not so much with 3 darts in hand at a double!
