Guitar lessons - is 30 minutes sufficient?

I'm looking to take guitar lessons and two places got back to me saying they do 6 lessons over 6 weeks, 30 minutes a lesson, €20 per lesson. 30 minutes seems quite short to me but maybe I'm wrong. Is this the normal amount of time for a guitar lesson?

While I have come across many advertisements for thirty minute lessons, I agree that this seems a bit on the short side.

Personally I'd prefer an hour. More time to ask questions and get detailed answers to them.
