Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am about to finish and singe honours degree in history next may, and I am interested in applying to be a Gard Trainee. The only experience I could really give is through work experience in a shop and garden centre and a full degree, so I feel my chances of being accepted re pretty low.I've heard applying for the reserves help massively, but God knows how long that would take. Any advice on increasing my chances? Thanks.

I am not and never was in the Garda Reserves and I'm from Sept 2016 campaign everything done just waiting for vetting to clear. What does look good is voluntary work on your CV and being involved in the community. Life experience is also an advantage.
