Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yup but for o neill it might as well be 3-3-4 it’s got so many attack minded midfielders. Exciting.

Shocked by the attacking nature of the team we’ve picked!

That makes 2 of us. We have had less attacking teams against far inferior teams away from home.

Saying that, there is a lot of legs in that team to cover ground.

I think MON is looking for a goal tonight!

O'Neil has a massive pair of balls on him starting O'Dowda. I think it's the right move.

Was wondering how the hell we're lining up with this team. This looks right. Very attacking team. Brady in a free role? Could be a genius move. Not sure about Hendrick in a defensive role though.

Jays I hope Brady isn't shoved all the way back into midfield. He was awful last time he played that deep.

Kinda dissapointed Clark got the captaincy. Woulda liked Duffy to get it.

Great call on starting O'Dowda - he has looked good and deserves a chance. Always looks to do something positive. We will miss Meyler tonight though I am sure.

Let's just hope we're not wearing dark orange jerseys :D

Denmark: Schmeichel, Ankersen, Kjær, Bjelland, Stryger Larsen, Kvist, Delaney, Eriksen, Cornelius, Sisto, Jørgensen

1-1 would be a great result tonight and that’s what my hearts telling me.

    Beat them at home Tuesday.

O Dowda in as mentioned above is a great shout. In form, scored last week I think so why not give him a shout.

Long to come on after 60/70 mins or so and run the tiring defense ragged. Worked against Germany in THAT game so hopefully history repeats itself.

    Excited for this. COYBIG

I agree it's a ballsy move to go with O'Dowda despite the fact he's been in good form. Hopefully it works out well.

Eriksen is obviously their biggest threat but Pione Sisto is another that would worry me. I saw a Celta Vigo game a few weeks back and was keeping an eye on him and he impressed me.

    +1 on Sisto. He’s a danger alright.

I’d guess a 4-4-1-1. With Hendrick behind Murphy. Brady cm with Arter. O’Dowda right McClean left

Regardless of what has happened in the rugby game this game is far more important to the Irish public.

    Just putting that out there.

So no rugby heads on here claiming otherwise please.

A playoff soccer game or tournament game will always be higher on the public's pecking order than any rugby game.

Lots of yellow cards on both sides.

Anyone else think yellows should be wiped when the playoffs come? A ridiculous amount of players at risk tonight which will probably affect their performances.

    Their own fault.

Lack of discipline. I'll make a prediction. Mc Clean will not be playing in the second leg!

But it's a different phase of qualification. The group stage (first phase) is over. They should be wiped for the playoffs (second phase) in my opinion.

I don't think they should be wiped. If they were you'd have both Ireland and Wales going into the last match of the group knocking lumps out of each other knowing there's no consequences to getting booked.

The idea of the accumulated yellows is to keep discipline in the players performances, which it achieves.

Dunphy masks his laziness with 'passion' and the odd bit of controversy. I don't know what Brady brings to it
