    Hey,

Hoping someone can help me. Just had our floors sanded and varnished using a stain and then an acid catalysed lacquer from Sherwyn-Williams. First coat of stain went on Tuesday, 3rd and last coat of Lacquer went on yesterday. Unfortunately the house now stinks, we haven't been able to sleep there all week as its hard to breathe. My wife is pregnant and we have young kids so we don't want to take any risks. I have read that an encapsulating sealer can help, does anyone know where I can get one in Dublin?

    Thanks.

It is a horrible and offensive smell. However it will wear off in a few days.I once used it on a wooden spiral staircase but went back to good old polyurethane after that.
