My niece and I are trying to make some youtube videos like something similar to this:

Could someone point me in the right direction on what 3D animation software I should be using?

download and try blender https://www.blender.org/download/
its completley free and catching up with the really expensive 3d softwares very rapidly

Cinema4D - to create scenes
Blender - to create models
Fuse - to create human models

rossi.

Blender for everything. Its my choice perfessionally over the paid softwares and im not paying the bills.
