Cehque clearing time

    Hi

    I lodged a cheque from Ulster bank in my BOI acc last Friday morning 10th. When should funds be available?

    Five working days is the standard length of time. It will start to earn interest on Tuesday (and will show as cleared funds on your account), but I wouldn't attempt to make a withdrawal against it until (at least) Thursday.

    Cheques can take up to 5 full working days to clear, as you lodged it on Friday it should be cleared by Friday the 17th.
