    Recently learned of this and it is becoming a kickstarter project soon (this week)

    Any downside in using in Ireland or even in General? Seems like a good idea but looking to get the opinion of some experts.

    Just had a look and looks a simple unit to use.
    Id recommend using a power supply bigger than the one he is using backed up with a 7 AMP battery.
    Also just so you are aware the sensors on the windows are only contacts, these are designed to show opening on a window. If you have an existing system using analysed zones, inertia sensors, then they may not work correctly.

    I hope you have no dual end of line resistors on your system.
    It will not work with inertia shock sensors, as Altor mentioned and it most certainly will not comply with European standards, therefore it will not comply with insurers criteria either.
