Introductory and Training day

For any of you out there that would like to improve your shooting skills or even just give it a try, this is your chance.

The NASRPC will hold a Gallery Rifle and Pistol introductory day at the MNSCI
on Sunday the 3rd of December. 10:30am to 3pm

All levels catered for : beginners to advanced.

World Championship winning team members and Individual World Champions will be present to help and instruct on the day.

Introduction to competition target shooting, techniques and training on the day.

Can you please advise on costs and also, if there will be "club" guns available alongside a little close supervision / tuition, for those who might be new to the sport ?

At first glance, it looks like a great opportunity for someone to give shooting a try and it should be a more regular event across various parts of the country, if we are ever to enlarge the numbers who participate in our sport.

There is no cost for the intro & training - any other activities on the range, you pay for as normal.

Beginners are welcome and will be closely supervised. Indeed everyone is a beginner until they are not. Just as all firearms are loaded until proven otherwise.

If individuals wish to take part and have questions on particular firearms, please contact competitions@nasrpc.ie, where their individual needs can be discussed

Hope there is significant take up.

It would be great to see events like this run more regularly for newbies, to help grow interest in the sport.

Depending on what you wish to learn, there is also introductory and training days provided by the NRBAI for Benchrest Shooting in all disciplines. Check us out on FB also
