Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of my favourites from that is the darts sketch with Smith and Jones.

    Nathan for you.

Its about a guy who gives smalling struggling businesses ridiculous ideas to get their business back to making profits. Some of his ideas have gone viral on social media and news stations

    Brilliant show

The Day Today. Is that even a sketch show? Parody. Satire? It was all three I think.

The scene with the re-animated corpse 'executing' his murderer was the funniest thing I've seen.

    *Louis Armstrong voice*

    "...Justice....."

Monty Python's movies were great, but i always found the TV show very hit & miss a lot of it was self indulgent ox-bridge tripe

A good few mentions I'd already agree with like Monty Python and The Fast Show.

As someone else said, Chewin' the Fat is hilarious too:

Compilation of the 43rd World Stare Out Championships on Big Train - brilliant.
Spatsky in his prime. The golden age of staring.

Both Alan Partridge and Ali G have some hilarious moments, although not sure if the latter counts as a sketch.

Ali G when he interviews a War veteran who is now a veterinarian, and constantly gets them mixed up, has provided me with many laughs.

Has anyone mentioned Alas, Smith & Jones yet?

(apparently this was the first sketch ever written by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews)

    Awwwww,

Thought this would be about that great show,

    Art Attack

PVA glue sales figures have never recovered since this show went off the air.

    Fast show was top notch.

However one sketch that I will never forget was The Day Today - Bombdogs.

I was recovering in hospital after getting my appendix out. I swear I nearly split the stitches wide open with laughter. Near the end of the scene they also parody the old voice over that used to be imposed on the Shinners on tv

Limmy's Show doesn't get the recognition it merits, brilliantly surreal.

Not sure the Ali G show would be classified as a sketch show but it was genius. Watched a lot of it back recently and it's still potent.
