Hi there, we have a 46" Sony w905 tv, str dn 1040 amp (from yourselves) and basic jamo 5.1 speaker setup. We watch mostly tv, few movies and music channels (might add ps4 next year). We we thinking of upgrading the speakers but not sure best road to go down. Maybe add a pair of floorstanders or replace existing 5.1 or go for a 3.1 setup. Budget €600-€800. Thanks

    Hi Mazotasan,

I would recommend going for a good set of floorstanders first of all. I did this myself a while ago, getting floorstanders with the intention of adding a sub and surrounds but ended up keeping the system as stereo as it sounded so good.

At around this budget i would recommend a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 6 speakers. They have a mid driver as well as two bass/mid drivers which gives great low frequency sound as well as great clarity and balance.

They retail at 839 euro but I could do a pair for you for 800 euro including shipping.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
