    Their CEO was interviewed on Newatalk today its was very interesting. The housing association operates mostly in the market between social housing and private ownership, because its an NGO supported by the state and private finance it can do a better job that the councils, better at maintaining the housing better and quicker dealing with anti social behaviour. The maximum rent they charge is 100 a week and its a tenancy for life. They keep the rent at that level to ensure a good social mix.

    There are solutions that are working but as he said the public often do not hear about them or they get drowned out in the shrill about the homeless.
