Mobile provider blocked my service for not sharing credit card details

Hi Everyone. I signed a 24 moths contract with a mobile provider. I'm up to date with my bills, but my card expired and the only way my mobile provider lets me update it is by calling the customer care and sharing all my credit cards details with a person who will update it manually. I'm not happy with sharing the details…

Definitely better battles to fight. Think about it this way in the 0.00001% chance some maniac overhears your details and tries to hijack your card by ordering something elaborately delivered to a mates house etc. etc. you will always end up being reimbursed via a chargeback..

Nevertheless if there is ever a nefarious transaction on your card I would bet money on the cause being a hacked site you think is so much securer vs an over-the-counter/phone transaction.

In 10 years I've had my details lifted once and that was via citysightsny.com (one of the largest tourist bus operators in New York)
