I have serious doubts to the validity of the claims.
The article states that the e-cigarettes study is part of a series of projects by multiple institutions funded with a $2 million grant from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.
And tada, what happens? they find evidence that the vapour may cause facial defects.

Indeed, further on in the article principal investigator Amanda Dickinson, Ph.D states "We aim to educate the public about the dangers of vaping and compel policymakers to impose tighter regulations, such as warning labels".
Just seems to me that she "found" what she was looking for. What were the doses administered etc?

Colleges and universities are always pulling this type of crap.
