Self managed pension

    Hi,

    As the title suggests, is there anyone who offers pensions where I get to decide what the money is invested in? I have an old pension with a few thousand in it from years back but rather than leave it sitting idle I'd like to be able to get that money and invest it as I choose but they will only allow me to move it to another pension. I don't currently have another pension.

    Yes is the answer.

    SSAP's and self invested pensions tend to be quite expensive though.
