Xterra Event

Hey y'all, I'd like to do an xterra event this summer, most probably the French one. I haven't seen alot of info about their events on boards, hence, here I am. So here I go... Has anyone done one? What is the mtb terrain like - very technical? Did you use a full susp mtb? Would you recommend it? Cheers
