The one Boston I know in Dublin is fairly busy most of the time, but no more than any independent barber.

But you will be paying out a hefty percentage of your turnover (not your profit) plus they’ll want you to establish your business in a high profile location so you will be paying a premium in rent.

Why do you want to buy into a franchise as opposed to going it alone?

Google Barber Course Ireland and get trained. Google Start Your Own Business Course to learn the basics of running your own show. As for the rest:

    1. Keep your customers happy - what can you offer them that no other barber near you is - service, service, service!
    2. Get your money in quickly (as a cash business, this won't be a problem).
    3. Keep your costs down.

Location is important. You need parking very nearby (preferably free) or else loads of people walking past.

    Good luck to you!
