Garda operation underway

A street in the heart of the city is closed this afternoon as garda carry out an operation.

St. Brendan’s Avenue, Woodquay has been blocked off by garda vehicles at both ends.

It’s understood gardaí are focusing on a house at that location but cannot give further information about the nature of the operation while it is currently underway.

I love the way the Tribune blacked out the door number but it's still easily identifiable from Google Street View as the door shape is unique on that street. Even odder that Google's algorithm chose to blur the letterbox in Street View (thinking it was a name plate because it has a 'no junk mail' sticker?) but left the house number legible.
