Just climbed into bed after a lovely evening with my guests. Took them to the best kept secret in KL.....The Hell Lounge....a helipad that becomes a bar. Then down Changkat (KL's Temple Bar) before going to Jalan Alor (KL's Moore Street with food stalls).
Got to watch Liverpool hammer the hammers.

    Pretty perfect day.

Sitting on the plane waiting to get off. I'm all wet (and not in the fun way!). I spilled diet coke all over myself. Sitting in my soggy coat.

Home again.. cooking dinner. His nurse was hovering, just waiting for me to leave :D I'm glad he'll be spoiled for the evening, makes it a bit easier leaving him.
It's fecking freezing. Jammies and couch for the night me thinks. Fires are already lit.

I got on a plane from JO'Burg once, a good 10 or 12 hours ahead of me. sat down, cracked open a drink, spilled it all over my trouser crotch area and it went right through to the seat.
That was a rather uncomfortable flight.

I'm at home now after being out and about today. Knackered and looking forward to bed already.

How did you find Jo'burg Boom? South Africa is a place I've thought of travelling to.

I'm back in bed for my evening nap. I'm a like a baby :p

Now I'm thinking about the oh-so-delicious pizza I've ordered from them before.

I was there a couple of times, but just working so I didn't get to see much.
The one obvious thing is that there are extremes of poverty and wealth in close proximity, you have to be on your guard all the time and despite progress, there is still racism everywhere.
But there are some absolutely wonderful people there and they love having a laugh.
Due to the crime though, when you walk down the street, people don't have their faces buried in smartphones so they don't walk into you :)

I'm in my little office now watching The Goldbergs :)

I've spilled drinks over myself and the floor far too many times to count :)

I'm in my apartment, peace and quiet, ahhh:D

At work on a break and wondering whats the matter with people. This weather forecast has some people preparing like it was the end of things as we know them.
Maybe it'll be awful and I'll be proven wrong but i just cant get caught up in the panic. Too lazy im thinking.

There are some foreign consultants sitting in the breakfast area, they appear to be here to teach a course, I’m wondering why one of them is carrying 2 boxes of Lego.

What are they planning to teach.

  • Registered Users Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

You can use the Lego to show that whatever you do you need a good foundation to start it off.
