Sprawled on the bed in my hotel room in Cork catching up on my favourite thread. Had a very pleasant drive getting here in the evening sunshine. Stopped for dinner in Dungarvan and then a 99 in Castlemartyr, had a hankering for a few days now!

    Welcome to paradise :3 :pac:

I'm after eating 2 bags of those McCoys Flame Grilled Steak crisps.

Which is bad enough but too many crisps gives me spots like a teenager :p

    rest -less,, less rest...

Was doing great and headed for sleep when cat chooses to do her "projectile vomiting after eating too fast stunt" all over the bedroom floor...

Nothing wakes you quite like clearing that up ;)

Today and tomorrow are meant to be Serious Rest Days as Weds and Thurs. I am hosting/.tour guiding two lovely Texan ladies who have been coming over for many years.. deeply thankful the forecast is good..

Weds will be Killala, then Downpatrick Head and that glorious beach. Then we shall see how the time is going. But then driving through that state owned wild country area that takes the breath away with the sheer glory of it.

    MAYO ROCKS!

Yes, Mayo is scenic, but I wouldn't like to live there full time. I have family in Achill and plan a trip for a day next week to visit some old haunts. Spent weeks in Mayo over the years and the winter weather alone gave me a slight dislike for the place. Cork is more varied and, generally more to see and do. But we all look for different things in a place.

Now I'm chopping rhubarb from the garden for Mrs S to freeze.

Actually here's one of my favourite scenes... (nsfw language etc)

It's basically a cross between the Wolf of Wall Street and well, Wall Street :p (the original movie, not the very disappointing sequel)

On topic.. I've now moved up to bed and very comfy it is too :)
