    Home from a wonderful day out with an old friend from Texas.. Perfect weather and such lovely places... Killala, Rathfran Abbey ( a well hidden treasure) , picnic at Lacken Strand, Downpatrick Head, in glorious sun and wind, back along the coast, and other places along the way.


    Magificent , breathtaking beauty; we are so blessed.

    She was so happy She has had a battle with breast cancer since she was last here. Loves Ireland..

    And another day tomorrow... more planned..
    Weather promises fair again,.

    A seal escorted the ferry home...

    Putting the boots on, a neighbour needs to move cattle and is stuck for help (must be very stuck to ask me ;) ) so he's on his way with the van.


    If I'm not back in an hour, call the coastguard helicopter.

    I’m at home exhausted on the couch. Was in a+e til nearly 4am today and was up at 7:30 to be in work for 9. I promised myself a nap on my lunch but went and got cake instead

    Had a breath taking beauty of an Audi R8 park beside me today and I may have drooled. Oh sweet Jesus it was gorgeous:D

    Have just spent a good chunk of the evening hanging out with Neighbour's kid. I'm exhausted! So full of life! Kids using their energy just seem to zap the Adult's energy or something! But my God I'm ready for the bed! I suppose not taking things easy in general quickly takes its toll on me plus any hint of Sun fatigues me for Ireland anyway! Being responsible for own Family of children 24/7 does not equate! But I suppose it's slightly different with your own kids... I need a Nap now anyway, someone call me in an hour please! :)

    On the couch guzzling reflux meds with a heated bean bag around my neck because I managed to feck up my neck/shoulder. Watching Safe on Netflix (thanks for the recommendation lads!).
