I'm home about 15 mins ... spent the evening running around after technically challenged neighbours......I'm knackered

Is it bad that when I was skimming thru all the answers in here all my gaze fixed on was the word "spanking" in your post.. ..and I want even the right definition!! :)

Shopping finished, found the willpower to leave the pub after 2 drinks this afternoon(shocked myself 😀)...scrubbed the floors and they are gleaming so anyone who wants to enter or leave the house better use a window because I'll kill if the hallway gets dirty..on the couch, stove lighting and on the red wine...oh and I have a visitor😜

    That sounds awesome. Good luck!

Just after sitting down put my 5 yo to bed with a made up story about a forgetful squirrel who survived winter by eating peanuts from a pubs rubbish bin.
" that was a good story dad".

    That'll do me:-)

Plenty of turkey and chocolate, try a dairy free one or the red fin carre from lidl in case she is a bit dairy sensitive. Sometimes it happens with celiac that the guts can't tolerate dairy for a while until the inflammation goes away....(experience from having so many kids.. it has its uses :D)

Cotside, cpap is on and he's not shouting as much.. well it's muted a bit under the mask!
A friend of ours who makes up luxury hampers for Christmas had a fair bit of stuff left over. She left in a good bit to St Vincent de Paul and then dropped a box of mince pies puddings and 2 Christmas cakes to my house.. gf and ordinary.. She said she would only be throwing it in the bin and knew we were under pressure and thought we mightn't have gotten around to the cake. I was only lamenting on Facebook yesterday when I posted a memory of my first gf Christmas cake.. it was gorgeous.. now I have tons. Some people are just so nice. That saves me a few hours tomorrow making the mince pies for Santy.

In the sitting room, wrapping presents. Finally got the last couple today. I can't wait to see people unwrapping them! Using Bailey's and chocolate to try dislodge a bit of sellotape that somehow got stuck to the back of my throat!
