Not the best race, even drs wasn't enough to liven it up. At least formula e will be back soon. Hopefully f1 offers better stuff next year

    jfc that logo's a joke

All they needed to go was take the current F2/F3/F4 logo, replace the number, and make something red. Bam, job done, and now you have a globally consistent logo that people will recognise and appreciate.

    Ms

Delighted to see Bottas win but otherwise it was a very dull race even Lewis Hamilton thought so and think we all agree they need to try make this track more exciting somehow. Am glad to see Renault get 6th spot in the Constructors title and hopefully they will do better next year but the pit crew not putting Carlos Seinz's left front wheel on right was terrible but mistakes happen. Hopefully they learn from it for next year.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Just watching F1 reaction on ch4.
Steve naming the potential drivers from the Williams seat.
    Robert Di Resta.
Just as I start to warm* to him

*warm, as in not wanting to slap him through the telly

While I seem to remember some decent races in other series (WTCC, WEC, GP2 etc) in the past, Abu Dhabi has always been a poor circuit for F1, made even more so by the additional downforce on this years cars. It didn't much matter this year but I would prefer ending the season at a track where the drivers can actually race each other, like Brazil or COTA.

I have hated Abu Dhabi since 2010, when Webber and Alonso were fighting for the championship - after covering each other off with early pit stops they were then stuck behind Kubica for the rest of the race allowing Vettel to sneak the title.

I think it's actually turned out to be a small mercy for Ferrari that Hamilton had won the championship before here. That result would have been even more soul destroying had it been for the championship.
One other fact for Bottas, the last two winners of this Grand Prix went on to be World Champion the next year.

    This too shall pass.
