Years ago at the time we had massive flooding it was the opposite side of the carriageway at the same spot. Loads of local roads flooded too this morning.

edit: both sides were bad, I thought it was just the west bound direction

Absolute nightmare on the 39A and it's serving the 39 route. Blanchardstown centre is a nightmare atm

Heading out to Clonee to collect herself at 5pm from Ballymount... here's hoping it drains away!

Where is the water coming from besides the sky!!
Is it a large volume of run off from the embankments or is there a slope or dip on the road there that collects during these massive rain storms.

She'd be quicker walking :pac: Not looking forward to the commute home later if this keeps up.

Traffic is terrible around the area at this minute. Clonee village is almost non moving.

    Any update?

The hard shoulder on the N3 just under the Snugborough Rd bridge was closed off with a council truck and pump about 45 minutes ago. No evidence of any flooding.

A 45 minute bus journey from Aston Quay to the shopping centre last night - quicker than some other evenings! No hold up due to flooding. Got on the bus at 17.30, off at SC at 18.15.

N3 was back open by 17.00, it was only inbound that was closed.

maybe it would have taken longer if you were to travel in the opposite direction. where the flood was and the road more or less closed off
