Fantastic gig by A HA last night

Brilliant, despite sound issues that Morton Harket appeared to be experiencing throughout!

Yes, it shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't have any contraband, like water bottles, booze, etc!

They sure can once not soldout. There is a ticketmaster box office where you can purchase tickets just to the left of the walkway/road into the entrance to the marquee.

Hello hello. I'm heading to Alanis tonight in The Marquee.

Anybody know if there is a support act? What's the general time the main act kicks off at? What time is curfew?

    Assuming you meant James Bay.

Wouldn't say I was a big fan going but he was really fantastic and put on a great show!

Would definitely go see him again.

    Very talented!

I didn’t really know much about him but I’ve been listening to his songs a lot recently and really wished I went now.

He has played the Marquee the past few years so am sure he will play next year too and seems to play the INEC regularly enough so should be there soon too.

going to kraftwerk on Wednesday - any idea what ticket sales are like

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,746 ✭✭✭BullBlackNova

Haven't heard much about it, though that's not necessarily an indication of good or bad sales. I would imagine the fact that it's midweek and expensive (€70+) has put off some people who may have been interested in a weekend gig, for example.

I'm going and looking forward to it but I know a few people who were half interested who opted not to go becauseof the price and/or not being able to get enough days off during the week to travel down for it.

The fact that it's their only Irish show (so far) probably helped shift a few more though.

In short, not a notion but I hope it's gonna be fun.

thanks - like yourself curious about the gig - the fact that it is on locally for me is what is making it attractive, if it was on in the point depot on a week evening in November would rule me out. only irish gig sandwiched in between their gig in Belgium and Madrid!

Like I said above, didn't know what to expect but the sound and visuals were really cool. A very enjoyable show.
